Intro

The combined cylindrical and face grinder grinds a shaft's outside diameter and an adjacent shoulder or thrust face in one setup, aimed at shaft-type parts where squareness between the OD and a face — not a bore — is the specified tolerance.

Workpiece Range

Suited to pump and motor shafts, spindles and flanged shafts with a thrust face or shoulder from Ø10–200mm OD and up to 1000mm long, in hardened steel and alloy materials. Squareness between the OD and face typically holds to ≤0.005mm since both are ground on the same centers.
