Surface grinders are mainly used to grind workpieces so that they can meet the requirements of flatness. We also have some operating instructions when performing its operations. The main ones are as follows:
(1) Grinding wheel
a. The selected grinding wheel should be able to withstand a certain speed, generally it is required to be above 2000m/min.
b. If the grinding wheel is damaged, it cannot be used.
c. The newly installed grinding wheel must undergo a balance test first. Before the formal grinding, it must be idling, usually for 5 minutes.

(2) Spindle
a. The rotation direction of the spindle should be determined before the grinding wheel is installed.
b. When turning on the machine, turn on the spindle first, and then turn on the water filling.

(3) Left and right institutions
When the workbench is moving, the left and right strokes cannot be adjusted.
